(28/06/2010) Four of my nature images of British butterflies (see Gallery 5) have been shortlisted in the British Wildlife Photography Awards 2010. The final award winners are to be announced in August. Following the results there will be a book published in September featuring all the award winning and shortlisted images and a national travelling exhibition. See the BWPA site for details.

(08/06/2010) Another 600+ flower and tree images have been added to Alamy over the last few months along with 90 images of Winchester, 30+ images of the "Head of River Race" on the river Thames and some new animal and insect images. The Nature Lists have also been updated to reflect the new additions. Coming up soon are pictures from Cornwall and the river Thames at Battersea and Chelsea taken last month.

(17/02/2010) It's taken a little longer than anticipated but the new Galleries section has now been added to the site showing some representative examples of my stock photography images. Ten galleries have been created showing images of Travel, Nature, Lifestyle and Pictorial subjects. All the images shown may be purchased at ALAMY.COM by clicking on the black "BUY" bar ( )beneath each picture.

(13/01/2010) Over the last two months many new images of flowers and trees have been added to Alamy that have been taken during the Summer and Autumn of 2009. There are now over 5,000 flora images available by Mike Crawley. To see a detailed list or buy these images go to Nature List 1

(30/11/2009) This month the site has been given a small overhaul with errors corrected, features updated and a site map added to the front page. Over the next month or so a Gallery section will be added showing some of the Mike Crawley stock images available for sale via Alamy, StockPhotoPro and IfImages.

(05/10/2009) New 2010 CALENDARS, featuring some of my stock photography, are now available to buy on-line from Lulu.com. At the moment there are 2 travel calendars available featuring images from BARCELONA and MEXICO, and 2 nature calendars featuring images of FLOWERS and BRITISH WILD FLOWERS. The Premium calendars are listed here, but the equivalent Standard calendars are also available from my Lulu shop-front. More calendars will be added to my Lulu shop over the next month or two, so come back and check it out for new additions.

(05/10/2009) New TRAVEL Image Map
A new TRAVEL image map has been added to the Travel section of the site. It is now easy to find my images from any country or region of the world that I have visited and photographed simply by clicking on a country or continental region. For instance if you are looking for images from Peru then click on PERU on the map (a text box will show "Peru" on passing your mouse over that area) and a new window will be opened displaying all my images from Peru in the Alamy library.

A new FLORA image map has been added to the Nature section of the site. It is now easy to find images of flowers from any region of the world simply by clicking on a country or continental region. For instance if you are looking for flowers from South Africa then click on SOUTH AFRICA (a text box will show "South African Flowers" on passing your mouse over the area) and a new window will be opened displaying all my flower images from South Africa.

(19/08/2009) GALAPAGOS is a new book featuring my stock photographs from a photographic trip to the Galapagos Islands in 2008, and highlights some of the beautiful yet rugged landscapes and unique nature to be found in the Galapagos Islands. The 88 page book shows a glimpse of some of the many magnificent sights to be seen in these vibrant volcanic islands.

Clicking on these links will take you to an area where you may purchase images of specific named reptiles and fish. The menus are organised alphabetically under English Family names and this list will expand with time as more reptile and fish images are acquired. The fish section has recently been increased to approximately 70+ species.

(27/02/2009) A few new images of Ecuador have been added to Alamy.com, and new additions made to the Peru collection. These were shot during December 2008 and include images of Guayaquil and Quito (Ecuador) and Lima and Callao (Peru). There are many more to be added over the next few months from the Galapagos Islands so keep checking this link for further additions.

(03/10/2008) As more of my images are added to the Alamy stock library it has become desireable to expand the options available in some areas on this site to provide more specific details.The first of these is the expansion of the FLOWERS and TREES sections in the Nature Images page. You will now see an "[Itemised List]" link next to the Flora Section. Clicking on this link will take you to an area where you may purchase images of specific named flowers and trees. The menus are organised alphabetically under Latin Family name and these lists will expand with time as more flower and tree images are acquired. This may also be implemented in other areas, such as Animals and Birds, in due course, where this type of treatment will be beneficial.

(07/07/2008) The Nature Images page has just undergone a rearrangement to include some new sections. The main change is the addition of the new Arthropods group, which includes Arachnids (Spiders and Scorpions), Crustaceans and Insects. This replaces the original Insect group. New additions to the insects section are Beetles and Phasmids (Stick Insects). There aren't many images in the new sections as yet, but these will hopefully expand with time.
